POLICIES & WARRANTIES

Sales Policy

Your prescription lenses are cut and designed …

Unique for you and your eyes.

     Unique for your chosen frame.

Due to the time involved and custom nature of eyewear, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Prescription Warranty

In some cases, your eyeglass prescription may need to be tweaked after your eyeglasses are made.  If you experience any discomfort or blur that lasts longer than a week of continual wear, we are happy to re-evaluate your prescription to see if any changes need to be made to the prescription and reorder your updated lenses for free.  We want you to see clearly!  You have 60 days from the date of purchase to contact our office.

Frame Warranty

Any frame you purchase at our office is covered by a one year temple-to- temple warranty against manufacturer defects.  If your frame style has been discontinued or frame parts are no longer available within that one year time frame, we will replace your frame with one of equal or lesser value.   Excludes discounted discontinued frames sold

Lens Warranty

Your lenses are warrantied against scratches based on the lens coating purchased.

We offer the following warranties for the following coatings:

     Basic Anti-Glare                 No warranty

Standard Anti-Glare        1 year scratch warranty

Premium Anti-Glare        2 year unlimited scratch warranty

Using Your Own Frame?

We are happy to fill prescriptions in frames that were not purchased at our office and will take care that the frame is shipped in a way that protects it from damage to and from our lens manufacturer. With that being said, we make no guarantee that the frame will not break during shipping or while at the lab.  If you use a frame that is not purchased at our office, you are consenting to the applicable risks and release us from any obligation to replace the frame or provide monetary compensation.

Progressive Lens Adaptation Policy

All prescriptions lenses require a period of time for adaptation. Progressive lenses, by design, can create a certain degree of distortion at the edges of the lenses.  Over time, these distortions will be less noticeable to you.  However, if you do not adapt to your progressive lenses, our office will replace them with a single vision, bifocal, or trifocal lens at no charge within 60 days of purchase.

Please keep in mind that there are hundreds of progressive lens designs available.  At our office, we will make a recommendation based on your prescription and lifestyle.  Our goal is to give you the best vision possible and educate you about your progressive lens options.
